2025 is right around the corner, and we’re thrilled to announce that we’re throwing an ultimate-sports-fan themed bash this coming February to celebrate the incredible bond between bully breed dogs and their human heroes! Whether you're a football or basketball fan, a rodeo or golf fan, or a baseball or NASCAR fan, there is something for everyone!

Put on your favorite sport jersey and join us for our fundraising bash that includes food and drinks, a silent auction, live music and entertainment (you do NOT want to miss!), and inspiring guest speakers, all focused on raising funds and awareness for the Paws For Patriots program. This initiative sponsors the sanctuary shelter, placement, housing, ongoing care, and training of companion dogs for veterans through our organization.
Your ticket price includes cocktail hour, professional entertainment, giveaways, silent auction, dinner, drinks, and dessert.
The evening will also include guest speakers, such as local veterans sharing how their companion dogs have positively impacted their lives, animal welfare advocates discussing current issues like housing for certain dog breeds, the ethical versus unethical aspects of animal rescue and its effects on the veteran community, and medical professionals addressing the mental health benefits of companion dogs. The keynote address will be delivered by Dave Stanley, president of The Bully Sanctuary.
Our silent auction features items for the local enthusiasts, as well as world travelers, along with professional photography sessions, sports and artist memorabilia (perfect for this Ultimate Sports Fan-themed event), local dining experiences, pet products, and much more! Some items start with minimum bids as low as $5.
As a token of our appreciation, every general admission attendee will receive a goody bag filled with items valued at over $500, a giveaway entry, two (2) bar service drink tickets, and beer or wine with dinner, courtesy of us and our sponsors. Cash bar also available.
VIP guests will enjoy upgraded goody bags valued at over $1000, early entry to the cocktail hour with open bar, VIP seating, additional entries for all event giveaways, and more.
Please note that this event is for individuals aged 21 and over. Smoking is allowed in the back patio and yard area, per venue policy. Every ticket holder is required to present ID at the door.
Outdoor heaters will be set up to ensure your comfort at this centrally located venue.
This initiative is dedicated to matching military veterans with their bully breed companions, providing support in various forms—from advocating for the removal of unjust "dangerous breed" housing policies to offering essential financial resources for veterans and their dogs. Together, we’re forging connections that change lives and challenging the stigma surrounding our beloved bully breeds.
FAQ
Will there be dogs there? Yes. Invited dogs and their owners will be in attendance.
Can I bring my dog? Due to the nature of the event setup, only invited dogs will be permitted entry. If you'd like to request an invitation for your dog, please email us at events@thebullysanctuary.org with details.
Will there be seating? Yes. There will be seating and standing room, including a mix of bar, low-top, high-top, and picnic tables. Seating will be available both indoors and heated outdoors. VIP guests will have access to VIP seating areas both indoors and outdoors.
Is the event private or will the venue be open to the public? The event is private. The Railyard will be closed for regular service.
Is re-entry allowed? No. If you need to leave and return for any reason, please speak with a representative at the event for an exception.
Is there onsite parking available? Yes. Parking is free both in the private lot and on the surrounding streets. To prevent congestion and having to walk too far, we do suggest arriving a bit early and ride share options (e.g. Lyft, Uber) for those local to the area.
Is smoking allowed at the venue? Yes. The venue allows smoking in the outdoor patio yard areas, which are part of the event space.
Is the cost of tickets tax deductible? Because the value you receive from your ticket is greater than the cost, ticket purchase prices are not tax deductible. If you choose to donate along with your purchase, your donation is 100% tax deductible.
